One year later a very similar 3-bedroom home on a smaller block sold for $515,000. So, the value of Alex’s investment had increased by $135,000 or 35% in 12 months! After 2 years we helped him purchase, the property’s appraised value was $575k. A huge $195k increase, or 51% jump.
Alex has just purchased his second property in WA to build on his portfolio. This purchase is for the same price of $380,000, with a tenant already in place paying $400pw.
Alex’s SMSF will be ticking along nicely for the coming years with both locations experiencing very strong rental demand which will result in increased rents as income for his Super.
